Statement of Faith
We believe there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, kind, loving, and faithful. He has revealed Himself to be one in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through acceptance of Jesus’ perfect and finished work on the cross. We believe that through Jesus’ sacrifice we are made perfectly righteous and are being conformed in the image of God’s son, empowered to live fully alive in the goodness of God.
We believe in the ongoing, sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit who is empowering the believer. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4 is poured out on believers that they might have God’s power to be His witnesses in the earth, including all the gifts of the spirit present in the church in Acts.
Statement of Non-Discrimination
The Homestead Academy does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (unless it is required as a bona fide occupational qualification), sex, national origin, age, marital status, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law, unless a particular status protected by federal, state, or local laws contradict the deeply held religious convictions of THA.
We believe in cultivating an environment that not only accepts diversity but treasures the ability to learn and grow from varying divergent thoughts and backgrounds. THA seeks to foster thoughts and actions that affirm of the equality of all persons.
